What makes Holmdel special? Located in Central New Jersey, just 15 miles west of the Jersey Shore. Getting Around Holmdel
What are the major roads in Holmdel? There are 2 major state roads that pass through Marlboro township: Route 34 and Route 35 and the 2 major county roads that traverse the township is County Road 520 and County Road 516.
The Garden State Parkway passes through Holmdel with part of Exit 114 (the other half is in Middletown) and Exit 116 (PNC Bank Arts Center) in Holmdel. The Garden State Parkway is also accessible in neighboring towns – Matawan, Middletown, Tinton Falls and Wall. I-95 is accessible in – Howell, Wall, and Monroe.
Although Holmdel is 12 miles inland, many residents frequent trips to the Jersey Shore. Popular Jersey Shore towns; Belmar, Lavalette, Point Pleasant and Spring Lake, are just a short drive down Route 34.
